Stephen Huff's
IN TIME, GOD BE WILLING
10/91

If, in time and God be willing,
man should find there is no more killing,
will all the souls so far behind
still know where and how to find
solace and sadness in far away places,
insanity and madness in shadow cast faces?
But, of all, there is the sane of heart
to take the fall then fall apart.
The ones left too long in the rear,
by the dead bereft; anger now fear.
For times of death and stranger things
when all is set and placed between
a rock and a harder place within your mind,
all is concrete, with a flourish signed.
