Half Pint smiled, nodding. While Epsilon readied Helmcleaver, the halfling dashed off to complete his own business. As the midget's absence stretched on indecently, the Warfarer grew impatient, and retired to the porch to be rid of the sty's reek. There he enjoyed a rushed breakfast of warm wine and hard, dried venison. When Ipani reappeared, the Ritesman enquired, "Well? How did he accept your offer?"
"With much disbelief. I do not think the reality of it will fully settle upon his shoulders until he registers the property with the land office."
"How did giving the gift make you feel?"
"Kingly, I think."
